PHILOSOPHY

My interest in acquiring and operating a small business stems from a firm belief in the power of local businesses to create jobs, shape lives, and promote flourishing within communities. My goal is to build upon a strong foundation established by a dedicated owner, honoring existing legacies while exploring new opportunities for growth. I'm not private equity and I'm not a synergistic purchaser--I'm looking to be the next long-term steward of a single business, investing my time, energy, and resources to help it thrive.

While I'm fascinated by the opportunities and challenges across a variety of industries, I'm committed to finding a sound, profitable a business to own and operate here in Virginia, where I've lived for over 30 years and where I am raising my family. I'm seeking to acquire a business with annual sales between $3-$10 million ($750K+ EBITDA) where I can apply my experience to drive sustainable, strategic growth over the long-term. I'm bringing personal capital as well as equity partners (from my network of small businesses owners, operators, and investors) to the deal table and am pre-qualified for an SBA loan.
